The UniSA Netball Club held a mixed netball social competition between the 27th of March and 26th of June. In total, 8 teams competed across 10 minor rounds and two finals and the eventual winners were "Team 8" defeating the "Mixed Nuts".

It was a fantastic season, and we already have so much interest for the next season in study period 5 and are hoping to have up to 12 teams registered.

The UniSA Lacrosse Club ran an 8-week social indoor lacrosse competition, known as City West iLax, on Monday evenings at Pridham Hall from February to April.

Six teams entered, including one each from UniSA and Adelaide Uni, a UniSA alumni team, and three others from the lacrosse community. While we didn't play for a winner, the Redwings team from East Torrens Payneham Lacrosse Club were the dominant team of the competition.

UniSA Lacrosse Club will be running another competition on Monday evenings from October until December, and we hope to see more teams take part this time around. The central location, great atmosphere and nearby amenities are helping the word get around that this is a competition to be part of!

Semester one saw the return of UniSA Ultimate's Northern Ultimate Social League, or NUSL as its colloquially known, to Mawson Lakes. Now in its third season, the competition brought together 6 mixed teams over 10 weeks of play.

The season saw the competition revamped through an exciting indoor twist. That meant a downsize to 5v5 mixed with more goals, some sneaky throws, no wind and exciting buzzer-beater hail mary plays. It was 'The Greytest' that were able to adjust to this change in style the best taking out season 3 premiers with the 'White Walkers' claiming the Spirit of the Game award.

After what was our biggest season yet we're anxiously waiting for the Spring 2019 season to get underway. We will be hosting 2 free Come 'N' Try's on Mon July 29th & August 5th at 7 pm, with NUSL IV kicking into gear from August 12th. We hope to see you there at the Social & Ultimate Hub of the North!

The UniSA Volleyball Club ran a 10 round social competition between the 26th of March and the 11th of June. The competition served as a way to learn about volleyball, varying from the rules to the techniques used, and socialise with fellow players.

Congratulations to the winning team, Meme Team, and the other teams for a well-played season. We hope all players enjoyed themselves and for more, volleyball related activities be sure to check out the UniSA Volleyball Club Facebook page and website.
