After a busy year, December is here!
After having an eventful awards night with UniSA Sport, where we won Club of the Year, and our president won "Club Administrator of the Year" and the "Club Colours" awards. We went back to Uni and finished preparing our car to leave for competition the next day.
We left Adelaide on Wednesday last week to go to Northern Victoria, where we competed in the Formula Society of Automotive Engineers - Australasia competition at Winton Motor Raceway. The competition started on Thursday and ended Sunday.
Unfortunately the team encountered electrical issues, and while we were able solve many problems present, there were some issues the team could not over come. These issues caused our car to not preform in the dynamic (Vehicle Performance) events, however we did compete in every static (Design, Cost, and Business) presentation.
At the end of the event UniSA Motorsport won the "Harry Watson Award" for our innovative and well tested / simulated battery module system. This award is a testament to the work put into the project this year by the club and we can not be any prouder of our battery system.
If you wish to join UniSA Motorsport in 2020, please be sure to contact our HR Manager Nathan (firstname.lastname@example.org), we are looking for Engineering Students, Business Students, Media Students, Design Students, Industrial Design Students, and anyone that wants to work in an industry related team.
