What do you love about working for UniSA Sport?
I love communicating with likeminded people in a friendly and welcoming setting. UniSA Sport is becoming a hub for all things health, wellness and sport at the University of South Australia, and I am excited to be a part of a growing business and facility.
Why are you passionate about health and fitness?
I have been interested in health and fitness from a young age, participating in numerous sports as a kid and going on to play netball at a high level as a teenager, so I have always valued the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Personal experience has allowed me to discover exercise as an escape, a grounding and motivational tool so I am passionate about promoting these benefits to others. Since commencing my undergraduate degree, I have only scratched the surface on the possibilities exercises has to offer, but I have been amazed by the extraordinary impact it can have on chronic conditions and overall health and wellbeing.
Area of specialty/expertise
While I am open to any opportunities to learn or specialise, I am passionate about mental health, the brain and their links to exercise and physical wellbeing.
