Student Athlete Profile: Lillee Wakefield

UniSA student Lillee Wakefield, who is currently completing a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours)/ Master of Teaching, has been involved in both the UniSA Elite Athlete Program and the Athlete Development Program this year. She has also represented UniSA at the UniSport Nationals Athletics event, played SA Challenge wheelchair basketball, attended the Inclusive Sport Event and is a member of our UniSA Sport Student Advisory group. Lillee also had the opportunity to participate in a leadership course which has supported her coaching and gym work in the Athlete Development Program. She says the experience has had a positive impact on her health and wellbeing at university, helping her to be more confident and she has made many new friends at Uni Nationals and Intervarsity Sport events. Lillee described her experience with UniSA Sport as “fun, engaging, memorable, exciting and welcomed.”
